Hi, I’m nicola Kusi.
I’m passionate about giving clients a voice, helping them feel heard, valued, and confident. By building self-esteem, I aim to promote self-care and support individuals in overcoming childhood trauma and attachment challenges.
I believe everyone, regardless of their past, can work toward healing and secure connections in adulthood.
Relatable and empathetic, I offer a comfortable, non-clinical approach.
As an integrative therapist, I use various methods but prioritise creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore, learn, and grow.
Together, we’ll work toward your personal goals and becoming the best version of yourself.
APPROACH
As your counsellor, I prioritise compassion, safety, integrity, sensitivity, and warmth in our sessions. Building positive relationships is at the heart of my work, and I focus entirely on you and what you share in the counselling room. By setting aside my own thoughts and judgments, I ensure that you have my undivided attention and unconditional support throughout our therapeutic relationship.
My approach is rooted in the Personal Consultancy model, featured by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) in 2016. This innovative model caters to individual needs and has proven effective in organizations, enhancing skills for both group and independent work.
Combining Integrative Counselling and Coaching, this model offers flexibility to address emotional and goal-oriented issues. It allows clients to explore existing patterns and develop new ones during our sessions, enabling me to choose the most suitable interventions from both counselling and coaching methodologies.
