Nicola’s work is grounded in systemic thinking; she is passionate about relationship-based social work, anti-discriminatory practice and thinking out of the box to promote good outcomes for children and their families. Through robust assessments and careful planning, Nicola’s ‘trauma informed’ approach to social work practice enables families to stay together but when this is not possible, children have an opportunity to live with experienced, nurturing and robust alternative carers.
